Sinex Aviation Technologies Announces
Name Change to EmpowerMX; Introduces New System to Enhance
Airline Reliability
FleetCycle®
Reliability Fact Sheet
DULUTH, MN, September 19, 2005–
Sinex Aviation Technologies Corporation,
an industry leader in aviation maintenance software solutions
and consulting services, announced today that it will be conducting
business under a new corporate trade name—EmpowerMX.
Company CEO Greg Sandbulte said that the name change to EmpowerMX
"helps create a more distinct identity for our suite
of aviation maintenance products. In addition, our new name
opens the door for migrating our technologies to serve other
transportation industries in the future." EmpowerMX is
also releasing Reliability Manager, a new module in its FleetCycle®
Suite, that will automate data gathering for aircraft maintenance
and reliability functions, tying processes together based
on aircraft reliability workflow.
EmpowerMX’s new FleetCycle®
Reliability Manager provides the airline industry with tools
for reporting and analysis, better early warning of negative
aircraft and component trends, enhanced regulatory fitness,
shortened response times to internal and external requests,
improved quality, and significantly reduced manual processes.
Using FleetCycle® Reliability Manager, air carriers will
be able to more easily identify systemic problems, and then
develop and implement comprehensive fixes.
“Our FleetCycle® Reliability
Manager transforms the reliability function from time-consuming
data-gathering and report-building, to a more appropriate
focus on the analysis of data and reporting of information
with minimal time and effort,” said Stan Melling, EmpowerMX
Vice President, Customer Support. “This is the kind
of innovation needed as the airline industry works to become
leaner and more cost efficient while maintaining high safety
and quality standards.”
Inherent to FleetCycle® Reliability
Manager is the capability to unite and interface organizational
and functional elements (e.g., reliability, quality assurance,
engineering, human factors, materials management, etc.) in
order for air carriers to better manage their maintenance
programs.
FleetCycle® Reliability Manager
will also allow airlines, regardless of their size or classification,
to more easily show compliance to the Federal Aviation Administration’s
Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS), by providing
many of the capabilities/functionalities described in FAA’s
Advisory Circular 120-79 – “Developing and Implementing
a CASS.”
FleetCycle® Reliability Manager
conforms to industry standards appropriate to current "best
practices" for aircraft reliability including conformance
to ATA Specification 2000 standards.
While satisfying the need of airlines
to mine and understand their digital data stored in a myriad
of systems, this new system is built on ground-breaking technologies
and can be deployed in a heterogeneous, enterprise grade,
IT environment providing the needed scalability and performance.
“FleetCycle® Reliability
Manager will transform the airline industry’s ability
to proactively manage their aircraft reliability and maintenance
operations,” said Sandbulte.
EmpowerMX will demonstrate the new
FleetCycle® Reliability Manager at the Star Symposium
in Phoenix, Ariz., on October 10 and 11, 2005.
