- More than 35 years of technical and operational
experience related to aviation safety, including evaluations
of large and small Part 121 operators and participation
with the FAA as part of national aviation safety inspection
teams.
- Managed
and conducted special evaluations of more than 35 corporate
flight departments. Also presented workshops for corporate
aviation department managers through the National Business
Aviation Association.
- Established
PAI in early 1978 and has directed work in areas such as regulatory
development, air carrier records systems analysis and audits, aviation
safety analysis, automation projects, avionics systems evaluations,
evaluation of civil aging aircraft issues, and the certification
of new air carriers and repair stations.
- Recently, assisted
the FAA in developing guidance information concerning the air carrier
regulatory requirements for a continuing analysis and surveillance
system (CASS).
- Helped develop
a new training course and served as one of the instructors for FAA
inspector CASS training.
